Per Troen, Senior Partner Corren Troen, Danish Advokat, Solicitor and has been the Chairman of the DUCC since 2001.
He is a member of the board of Latchways Plc, a member of the Development Committee of St. Cathrines College, Oxford, and a Goodwill Ambassador for Copenhagen and Denmark, and chairman and board member of a number of companies in England, Denmark and elsewhere.
Per Troen set up the first Danish Law firm in England in 1984. In 1991 he established the first multi-national legal practice, Abbott King & Troen and was the first foreign lawyer to be approved by Law Society of England and Wales. In 1997 he merged Abbot King & Troen's Nordic business with Osborne Clarke. He subsequently set up Corren Troen the Anglo-Nordic Corporate Finance, business and Private Client Law firm. Corren Troen specialises in all aspects of Family Office issues.
He is a Vice Patron of the English Charity The EVE Appeal, fighting Gynaecological Cancers. In 2001 he was knighted by Queen Margrethe II and became a Knight of Dannebrog. |

John Goodwin, Managing Director of Copenhagen listed United International Enterprises Limited, joined the DUCC Board of Directors in 2000. Born and educated in South Africa, John Goodwin moved to the UK in 1969 soon after qualifying as an accountant. He began his career in investment banking in London and then spent a number of years in the sector, working in Malaysia and Australia before being recruited, in 1982, to join a significant Danish group of companies, including the vegetable oil specialist Aarhus Oliefabrik. In 1992 he was appointed Managing Director of Aarhus Oliefabrik, a position he held until 1997. In 2005, Aarhus was merged with its Swedish counterpart, Karlshamns AB and he sits on the board of the new holding company, AarhusKarlshamn AB, which is listed on the Nordic Stock Exchange. John Goodwin serves on a number of other boards, including citrus fruit producer United Plantations Africa Limited, where he is currently Chairman.and he is a member of the Board of Neptune Minerals Plc, and AIM listed company.

Treasurer Søren Bansholt joined the DUCC in 2000. He is an international M.P. in SAM Headhunting - a leading Scandinavian executive search firm. He has spent his entire career in the high-tech industry, gaining broad business experience from a number of senior executive as well as non-executive director positions. Søren Bansholt, a Dane who now lives in London, has a detailed knowledge of the European marketplace from international positions in Scandinavia, France, Italy and the UK in GN Great Nordic, International Computers (ICL), Olivetti, Computer Science Corporation (CSC) and Dell Computers. He started in executive search in 2000 and is now international partner in SAM Headhunting where he has the leading role in building the international executive search business. |
Lars Christiansen Royal Danish Embassy

Lars Christiansen, Commercial Counsellor at The Royal Danish Embassy since September 2006, heads the commercial section at the embassy, where his primary task is to assist Danish companies entering the British market. Prior to his present posting he worked as Deputy Consul General in New York, Chief Special Advisor in the Commercial Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Copenhagen, Commercial Counsellor in Kuala Lumpur and Commercial Attaché in Los Angeles. Lars Christiansen has an MBA from Copenhagen School of Business Administration and initially worked as a commercial officer at the embassy, before taking up marketing positions in Danish industry and joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1986. |

Martin Mortensen is the Executive Director of the Danish-UK Chamber of Commerce since March 2003, in charge of the overall running of the Chamber; he is also responsible for the proposal of new initiatives, directing the programme of activities and developing future strategy. Following his professional qualification from the Institute of Directors, Martin Mortensen applied the IOD conduct and good practice to the streamlining of the Chamber, introducing procedure, new roles and a clear distribution of authority. Furthermore with the support of the Board of Directors he has developed a 3-year strategy for the Chamber based on adding membership value through the organisation of sector specific activities of interest to members, enhanced through efficient communication. Martin Mortensen holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Aarhus School of Business. |
Kristian Goth Vinther Goldman Sachs

Kristian Goth Vinther, Executive Director at Goldman Sachs which he joined in 2000. Kristian is a member of Goldman's Scandinavian Team within the Investment Management Division. He is primarily responsible for the firm's high net worth clients in Denmark and Norway (individuals, family offices, foundations, small pension funds). Kristian works with his clients on tailor made investment strategy solutions and implementation. Prior to his current position he was a member of Goldman Sachs' Global Investment Strategy Team. Before joining Goldman Sachs he worked in Nationalbanken (Central Bank of Denmark) for 2 years and as a teaching assistant in micro- and macro economics at the University of Copenhagen. Kristian has a Cand.Polit (MSc in Economics) from the University of Copenhagen and was one of the founding members and a board member of the Young Shareholders Association in Denmark. |

Ulrik J. Walther joined Prytania Investment Advisors in 2004 as a Partner, responsible for Client Advisory and Product Management. Prytania Investment Advisors is a structured finance investment company focusing on asset management and portfolio advisory for institutional investors globally. Prior to joining Prytania Investment Advisors Ulrik served 10 years with JP Morgan & Co undertaking numerous assignments within investment banking and asset management primarily focused on Scandinavia, the Middle East and Governmental institutions. Ulrik Walther has also spent one year with Merrill Lynch, four years with Deutsche Bank and four years with Copenhagen Handelsbank in Denmark. Ulrik studied economics and finance at the universities of Aarhus, Copenhagenand Stern School of Business in New York. He is a holder of the CFA designation. Ulrik has worked in voluntary organisationsfor many years and has served as Secretary General of The Nordic Young Conservative Union, Executive Committee Member of the Democrat Youth Community of Europe and member of the Council for International Development for 4 years. Ulrik is 44 years old, married to Angela and lives in Hampstead, North London.
