The evening was a collaboration between the Danish-UK Chamber of Commerce, the Royal Danish Embassy, Ivantainment, Madsens Gallery manager Jeanett Exner and MEWS42 Gallery director Jesper Thomsen.
A painting was donated to the Ambassador of Denmark, Mr. Birger Riis-Jørgensen who also inaugurated the show which runs from April 16th to May 1st 2009.
Birger Riis-Jørgensen described the night as “A very enjoyable evening with interesting people who found an inspiring artist and his paintings. The atmosphere was super. Mews 42 is just an excellent frame for Johnny Madsen’s paintings.”
