Maturity of Private Equity in the Nordic region: What lies ahead?

On 6 May the members from the Nordic Chambers were invited for a Joint Nordic Event at the London Stock Exchange on Maturity of Private Equity in the Nordic Region. Five guest speakers were invited to give their perspective in the topic.

Per Troen welcomed the delegates and Ambassador of Denmark, Birger Riis-Jørgensen made a welcoming speech were he presented his views on the importance of globalisation and the importance of taking responsibility of global warming.

The Guest Speaker Panel

The five guest speakers each delivered interesting presentations elaborating on the Private Equity Model as well as different strategies within the Private Equity business and furthermore they gave their view on the Nordic Private Equity Market in the future. All agreed that the Nordic market should be seen as one market and not five individual markets.

After the presentations canapés and drinks were served and the attendances continued discussing the topic.
