DUCC/Northern Bank Investor Seminar 27 May 2009
60 clients and members of the DUCC and Northern Bank signed up for the recent event held on 27th May at the Royal Automobile Club. Poul Bendix Kristensen, from Danske Bank in Copenhagen, gave his views on how to navigate markets in these turbulent times. Luckily he appeared more optimistic on the future outlook, when talking about global equities and credit bonds, both of which have been hit the hardest in the financial crisis.
Benedikte Malling and Mads Birkeland from Corren Troen, gave their views on both on-shore and off-shore tax planning opportunities and flagged some areas to monitor, in light of the proposed 50% income tax for high earners.
