North Road has been awarded its first Michelin Star this month, after opening the doors less than one year prior.

Stylish and minimal, the restaurant in Clerkenwell showcases  Christoffer Hruskova's Nordic inspired Cuisine. Born & raised in Odense, Chrisoffer worked in establishments such as the Michelin starred Kong Hans in Copenhagen and helped to open the renowned Emmerys organic bakery and grocers in Aarhus before setting off to explore the culinary world - travelling from France to Australia, Tokyo to South America, San Francisco, New York and finally settling in London.

The influence of Scandinavia is immediately recognisable on the menu - burnt hay, pickled vegetables - but the ingredients themselves speak of this country and of the season. The best ingredients from around the British Isles are sourced by Christoffer and his team, direct from small suppliers, with foraged herbs and berries inspiring dishes.

North Road is pleased to announce the arrival of Private Dining: The exclusive Mezzanine overlooking the restaurant floor can seat up to 24 people at a single table; whilst the Sky Lit Dining Room can seat up to thirty dining underneath a dramatic feature sky light.
