E-Commerce Sales Assistant

To assistant in the running of the online retail side of the business which is currently experiencing 40% increase in sales year on year. The company is seeking an all-round business minded person who is energetic, enthusiastic and with a passion for selling to continue this growth.

Job Role:

• Daily processing of orders – which will include orders from the websites, mail orders and telephone orders.
• Proactively up and cross sell to customers to increase average order values and to build lasting relationships with customers.
• To identify new opportunities and effectively target these to achieve results.
• Co-ordinate with colleagues to ensure orders are packed and despatched promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure the highest level of customer care by responding to and resolving customer queries in a timely manner.
• Daily and weekly reporting on sales figures against targets.
• Work closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager and Finance Assistant ensuring that prices are correct and margins being maintained when purchase invoices are received.
• Running reports on stock to forecast the weekly purchase orders and developing our relationship with current suppliers.
• To work closely with E-Commerce Administrator on marketing strategies for our weekly and monthly promotions.
  

Job Related Skills:

• Danish and or Danish speaking is essential
• Proficient user of the Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel (advanced)
• Minimum of 2 years experience of working in a commercial environment ideally familiar with stock and order processing software.
• At least 2 years experience of proven successful sales support activity
• Excellent telephone manner
• Excellent communication skills
• Clean Driving License
• People with relevant experience only need apply

Work Environment:
The offices are village based 7 mile west of Bedford. A small team of dedicated professionals each self-motivated, dealing with high profile accounts alongside and fast growing web shop presence. This person must be committed and dedicated

The annual salary is set to £20,000 per annum + commission OTE £25,000
