Happy New Year!

Once again I am amazed by the atmosphere you all contributed to creating at our Christmas Lunch at the Regency London - The Churchill in Portman Square. 

Even the fire alarm break, which gave us all some fresh air at a crucial time, could not interrupt the 'flow' of the splendid afternoon. 

Unfortunately our guest speaker, the DUCC Honoury President Jim Davies CBE, had to leave after the airy interruption, but he has confirmed that he will pick up the tread of his speech next time. 

Two crucial events this month:

Firstly, the Danish Church in Regents Park has managed to entice the recently retired "super boss" of Dansk Industi, Hans Skov Christensen to be the speaker at their dinner on 28th January 2011, and we encourage all our members to sign up and hear from this leading and best connected of individuals in recent times in the Danish business community!

Secondly, we remind all our Advisory Board members about our first dinner at the Embassy on Monday 31st January 2011 with the guest speaker being Christina Schiøtt Liaos, Head of UKTI in Denmark. Her team at the British Embassy in Copenhagen has just been ranked as one of the top 3 Branding and Inward Investment agencies in the world. 

I am looking forward to seeing you at our events in 2011. Meanwhile I trust we will continue to support and assist each others' businesses where we can, not forgetting that this year is probably not going to be any easier either!
