Viasat Broadcasting UK is looking for a Production Assistant
Viasat Broadcasting comprises the broadcasting businesses within the international entertainment broadcasting group Modern Times Group MTG AB with the largest geographical broadcast footprint in Europe. Viasat’s free-TV and pay-TV channels and pay-TV platforms attract a total of 125 million viewers in 31 countries. MTG is also the number one commercial radio operator in the Nordic region and the Baltic states.
Our Creative Services department is now looking for a Production Assistant to work within our Sales division. This position will be based at our office in West Drayton, West London and is a full time permanent position.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a production assistant for CS Sales, you will be working as part of Viasat’s In-house production agency. Your main role will be to support the producers and marketing managers in their daily routines.
The production assistant works as the final link between production and the viewer. Your success in the role is therefore dependent on a high degree of punctuality and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Versioning and distribution of TV and Web spots for markets across Europe
• Ingesting and archiving of on-air material
• Maintaining client database
• Assisting editors and technicians during production stage
• Quality checking finished productions
• Translations from English and other Scandi languages.
• Music reporting
Requirements

• Good written and spoken English
• Norwegian mother tongue would be a strong advantage
• Scandinavian language proficiency is essential
