London Olympic Games 27 July to 12 August 2012

Danes Worldwide is nearing the halfway mark in securing B & B accommodation for the relatives of some 120 Danish athletes, participating in the London Olympic Games this summer.

We have a team of 20 volunteer helpers and now need to complete the task.

We appeal to you and your Danish friends to offer accommodation during the period of the Games.  And with some 50.000 Danes living in or around London, we should not really have a problem. You decide how much you wish to be paid.

We are working closely with Sport One Danmark and consequently with Team Danmark, Danmarks Idræts-Forbund and Danmarks Olympiske Komité who between them own and use Sport One Danmark as their official sponsorship company.

The Danish Royal Yacht Dannebrog will be moored in London during the Games, but we doubt there is spare accommodation to find there. We have, however, secured accommodation for one member of the Royal Danish family and her party.
