IPM Global Mobility (Scandinavia) ApS is delighted to announce the appointment of Lone Skriver as Head of Nordic Region for Scandinavia.
In welcoming Lone, Alan Bentley, Executive Chairman, said that “I am delighted that Lone has joined IPM as Head of Nordics Region. Lone is a highly experienced and influential Manager having previously worked with Grundfos, Vestas and Siemens and has significant international experience. Lone’s appointment further strengthens IPM’s representation and commitment to the Region. Everyone at IPM welcomes Lone who will make a strong contribution to our ambitious growth plans as well as adding strength to the Senior Management team.”
Lone said “For many years, and having started at a young age, I have always had an interest and worked with cultural exchange and international interactions, which in my adult life lead to a career in the Global Mobility industry. I am fortunate to have experienced and learnt about the industry from an in-house role gaining skills and knowledge with multinational companies, as well as through my work with private and public institutions improving Denmark’s framework for receiving international employees from abroad.
Throughout these years, I have seen the many challenges that companies face, so when I met IPM and their people, I immediately liked and saw their passion in their work and how their service is offered with a personal touch, which is what I believe is often a challenge in the industry. The change from in-house to a supplier role will offer a great chance to develop Global Mobility services in a new way as IPM’s offering understands this viewpoint and our client’s needs. The company and the team have great potential, to which I am greatly proud to now be part of.”
At IPM, Lone is responsible for institutionalizing the company’s relationship with its clients, maintaining a regular dialogue with Senior Management and ensuring that we are connecting at the strategic level as well as at the operational level.
Having lived and studied in Germany, Switzerland, Australia and Japan, Lone has worked with international relations for more than 20 years. She has extensive experience with Global Mobility in multinational companies developing her into an expert in finding the optimal solutions for the business as well as for the individual or family when going global. In addition, Lone has been part of Denmark’s internationalization process on national, regional and local level since 2008.
IPM Global Mobility has seen clients expand their global offices throughout the recent years with an increasing proportion of employees working abroad. However, the way global assignments are managed is also changing. This can be very challenging for HR teams who are responsible for selecting, planning and managing the movement and assignment arrangements of personnel working overseas as part of their job. IPM Global Mobility (Scandinavia) ApS will provide much needed local services to the many Scandinavian companies who have employees working across the globe.
